I sold a four-thousand square foot home I was renovating in Florida and traded it for freedom. I signed the papers at the closing, put my feet up on the desk, and took a photo of the moment. It felt like setting something heavy down. Like a burst of sunshine after a long, quiet winter.
Today I live and travel full-time in a luxury RV with my service dog Lexie. I am sixty-two, an award-winning artist, a luxury travel advisor, and a woman who has reinvented herself more times than I have rooms in the houses I used to own. The road has been part of my story for longer than most people know.
Lady V was not a name I designed. It was a name life handed me, and I finally leaned in.
My real name is Ansavelia, after my grandmother. People always struggled with it, so I went by V, then Miss V, and somewhere along the way Lady V came home to me. It started as a radio segment in Hammond, Louisiana, when I was in my early thirties. It came back when I stepped into my travel entrepreneur journey, and this time I let it stay.
I have survived long COVID. There was a flight to a California real estate convention that got rerouted to Vegas because I passed out at altitude. I woke up in a Las Vegas ER alone, with no luggage. Some days my body still asks me to stop. I have learned that strength is not always pushing through. Sometimes it is rerouting. That lesson sits behind every retreat I design and every trip I plan.
People who know me at parties think I am a pure extrovert. The truth is I am an introverted extrovert who deeply values solitude. There are quieter seasons too, the ones that ask for stillness and a paintbrush instead of a passport. I tell you this because the people who find me here deserve a real woman, not a polished version of one.
Five years ago I thought I would be settled into a fifty-five plus community in Panama City Beach. Now I do not always have a campground booked when I land back from a safari. I just became a little bit braver. That is the whole brand, really. A woman who chose to keep getting braver and decided to bring a few hundred other people along with her.

I am not a content creator who decided to call herself a luxury travel advisor. I am a working advisor with international destination training, host agency credentials, and the kind of supplier relationships that get a client every penny back when an eighty-thousand-dollar trip falls through days before takeoff. That has actually happened.
